Emily has spent her entire career helping clients recover insurance from insurance companies. She has successfully negotiated and argued many insurance coverage matters in and out of state and federal courts in Oregon, where she is admitted.

Emily is regularly asked to present and co-chair continuing education seminars on insurance topics. She also served on the Editorial Review Board for the 2020 edition of the Oregon State Bar Book Insurance Law in Oregon and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Oregon State Bar Construction Law Section.
She attended Boston University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude in 2003. Prior to that, she earned a B.A. from the University of Oregon, where she majored in political science and minored in business.
Emily’s husband of over 15 years is an award-winning brewer, and her two school-aged boys keep her busy with sports, school, and travels to Mt. Hood and the Oregon Coast.
